About Me and Some Special Horses in my Life
The links on the left will take you to a page I created for a Paso Fino named Duchato del Herencia (Modesto),owned by Charles Tysinger and currently shown by his daughter.I worked for Tysinger Farm before coming to Virginia.I broke and trained Duchato del Herencia before the Tysingers bought him. I taught their daughter to ride and show. Currently in the show circuit, She has shown well against many riders with more experience. Modesto can be a hot horse but due to the way he was trained, he can gentle back down (sometimes a problem for pasos) I have approximately six years of experience training and showing Columbian Paso Finos.Last summer at the Paso Fino Breed Show in Lexington Virginia, I showed Modesto with the Tysinger family. He qualified for the 2004 nationals in Georgia.I took a Blue ribbon and also a Red ribbon showing the horse.
